day 7

dress: handmade by me
cardigan: banana republic
shoes: urban outfitters
whenever i go shopping or see cute clothes in magazines or even on friends, i always say, "you can totally make that." so this time i did. i found an old dress at the thrift store and cut the top off. i had an old tank top and sewed the tank and the dress together with an elastic black band in the middle and....ta-da, a tank dress. i made this a while back, but have only worn it out once before. i wore it to church today, but hopefully it'll get worn more often.

Great job on the tank dress! Usually when I go shopping, I hunt for these types of dress in the clearance racks for $5 or under and then take them apart to make a new skirt, like how I did it here.

I found you on WR :)
